The Venice Hongwanji as part of the Buddhist Churches of America is currently accepting donations to help towards the world-wide relief efforts to help the victims of the 7.0 earthquake that struck the island of Haiti on January 12, 2010. The Venice Hongwanji will be collecting funds until the end of February and will be forwarding those funds to the Buddhist Churches of America by March 1, 2010.

Please earmark your contributions HAITI RELIEF.

Checks should be made out to the BUDDHIST CHURCHES OF AMERICA with a notation For Haiti Relief.  All funds sent to the Buddhist Churches of America will then be forwarded to the appropriate agency or agencies to assist with the relief efforts for the people of Haiti.
